Just bought OEM driving lights for the bumper. Question
1. The kit I bought from ebay didn't have the template for the dash cut out included. Does anyone have access to another that I could print off?
2. What happens if I don't allow the dealer to program the lights? Will the still work?
Thanks in advance!

Hi
I did have the template, was only a bit of paper and threw it out, sorry
Yes LR dealer has to tell the computer, ccf file that driving lights are fitted.
Or you could order a faultmate msv extrem and do it yourself.

I fitted these couple of months ago this is a good guide http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic2903.ht...amps%5C%22 I have the template left over. Could i copy the template and send it you or is their some way to put pic in my gallery and you copy it? EDIT= i don't have a scanner but could place template on A4 sheet and take pic. You could then download pic and print to A4 sheet. If you have better idea let me know. I won't be home toll tomorrow so can't do it till then. Hope this helps
I'm picking up a set on Wednesday evening, so if Disco Duck's idea didn't work I can scan whatever is in the kit and put result on this thread. Thanks gents!
Either option is good and I think will work. The scanned in version would be the best followed by the picture.
Too bad I have to visit the dealer just to get the lights to work. I wanted them to work independent so I could keep the headlights in the auto function while using the driving lights when ever i wanted...
Is there a workaround?

All instructions are available on Land Rover website (including templates I think)
To make them independant, why not make your own loom up. It would be easy to do, not road legal in UK, but not sure about US

The state I live in has no such requirement.
I'm kind of a moron when it comes adapting electronics. How can I use the existing loom or adapt another to work?
The LR site has the directions but no template...

don't they have letter size paper in the good old USA (not A4) & won't that make it the wrong size? Perhaps it's a bit more the case of Chuck's your uncle.D3 2.7 TDv6 HSE, 2005 in silver.

Thanks y'all!
Someone PM'd a scanned image to me this evening.
Still love to know if I could use the supplied wire loom to allow independent operation of the lights.

I'm going to try and use the supplied wire loom, but bypass the body control light ecu (or whatever it is) so I can make the light work independent of the high beam.
