Petrol FBH are a rare thing.... They were fitted to the diesels as they take longer to warm up, you really don't need one on a V8 petrol, they are very quick to get to temperature even in freezing weather.
Replacing all the airbags will be hideously expensive and they are not known as any sort of failure point, save the money for the other actual problems you will find! Likewise wheelbearings, although not expensive to change, it is a bit pointless unless they have a problem but it is your money.....
Pretty sure all V8's are HSE and all HSE have rear aircon/heating. It is a unit is the rear quarter on the passenger side. Check for a set of controls adjacent to the centre set of interior lights.

Ah, no I didn't. That makes a little more sense, but even so, they don't fail very often.

Yikes! looks like it was used for water crossing, check that it did not have major water ingress in the electrical system inside.

Thanks for the suggestion of rear air con pipes... do they all have rear air con? I don't recall seeing that the car had additional grills etc? If it could have it, I would like to fit it as keeping the rear cool is a big priority for our dogs.
Wheel bearings and bags are both unknowns, but I would like to set out on my D3 journey with new ones.
I don’t think you need a engine heater in U.K. but here in an Scandinavia you have three choices. LR’s own which heats the coolant, Calix and DEFA products. All use 230 V, not petrol so you will need to plug it in to a wall socket somewhere. I don’t remember if the top of my head but one of them heated the engine oil while the other (Calix I think) heats the coolant. The petrol will start without issues in -34 oC (tested....) as long as you have a good battery without a heater. The heater makes it warm up faster but isn’t necessary. Some of these you can add an 2 kW heat element which warms up the passenger compartment.

Pelyma is correct - not all have rear aircon.
They also did the V8 in SE trim.

Rebush anti roll bars etc.
New Air bags
New wheel bearings
New pads and discs as required.

Overhaul Transfer Box
Check Gearbox for leaks etc
Check PAS for leaks etc.
Replace any worn components in the steering and suspension.
Strip all glass from shell

While the air bags rarely fail the shocks do start to get soft. I’ve changed the front two and it’s as easy and probably much the same price to change the complete unit shock and airbag together. It made a big difference to the front of the car. I’ll be changing the rear two over the next few months and will change the full strut, shock and airbag. I’m just over 300K KM mostly secondary roads so well bounced around.

Hope you sung a good song to get it cheaply. Looks like may have been in an area where they salt the roads.
Will make a fabulous vehicle when finished
Did not notice radiator or hoses
Overhaul gearbox/transfer case
Check of both diffs
Check fuel tanks sensors whilst body is off don't ask how I know

Well mine is pretty early and it does have it, I haven't seen a V8 in the UK which didn't. That said I stand corrected as obviously they do exist!
So, for the original poster, IF you have rear aircon, either replace the pipes or blank it off. Having driven many miles with a small baby and my wife in the back, keeping it working turned out to be a good move, especially with the greenhouse effect of the glass roof!

Well I didn't buy this V8... for those wondering why I was even considering it, it's a G4 car.... but the cost of repairing it, and the time off the road put me off.
So the hunt continues!
