Also on the topic of pimping my ride or blinging it up - on older D3s the bonnet and trunk lettering tends to fade. You can get new letters in silver (I think this is the original color, too) or for example in chrome quite cheap. ditto for air intake on the side.
Depends on the car color of course whether it makes it look good or worse 8) I think that chrome looks very nice on a blue background but perhaps on yours it doesn’t make sense to chrome it up.

Have only used them a couple of times but first impressions were good. Someone here recommended them. Once the night's draw in will have a better idea.

And luckily front fogs aren't covered, mine were rusted to and gave out less light than a firefly.

my front fogs don't give much light out

that's a job for next year to cut them in, believe the markings are there behind the bumper , know the two wiring connectors are just behind the headlights

Fitted led bulbs to my rev lamps, had to go back to std bulbs as the leds stayed lit up all the time even going forwards!

Have the reverse lights on my Mondeo! Let's just say the whole street knew I was reversing when it was dark. Think I have some spare ones too, and some led indicator ones but not sure on using ballast resistors on this as I know the electrics can be sensitive.
Will get the interior ones ordered up, then look to do the exterior as well.
So the list has begun!

I went for the Vanssi led interior bulbs from Amazon. They are SO much brighter than filament bulbs. Over ordered so had enough spare for my neighbours D3 too. He is still amazed at how bright they are too.2006 TdV6 HSE.
