Yep, exactly the same as on my folks 16MY Landmark. Plus it locks using the button on the handle, plus unlocks & relocks tailgate when just that is used, features that were news to my folks after 5 1/4 years. Laughing

regarding switching it off ... IIRC Mercedes dealers will switch it off if you ask. Given the weakness in this system is partly that it's on loads of cars, making the bypass kit extremely viable for the scrotes to justify spending money on the kit then it's likely it can also be done by JLR.

I was just about to dig out the IID and head out to switch the keyless entry off but SWMBO has banned me until I hear from someone that knows what they are doing re whether there are any unintended consequences. Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

Mouse and she does before anyone asks. Next step will be her confiscating my IID. Shocked Shocked

I'm quite happy pressing a button on the fob to lock and unlock, had 11 years of it on the D3 and I survived, I just watch for the ears folding on Dee. My thumb will withstand the stress. Thumbs Up

Cant you just remove the battery?

It's super easy to get to on the hse fob.

I use a pouch for my main set at night and my spare is in two silver foil sandwich bags, that is also inside my safe.
