Any kitchen fitters on here?

Reason I ask is 'cos I need to replace some worktops and a sink. Sink & plumbing I can do no problem but cutting in new worktops is something I tried once before Whistle Whistle

Near J11 of the M42. Beer vouchers waiting.

TIA

Dom

I've got a kitchen worktop jig and decent router and kitchen bit set if you want to give it a go.
I did a friends oak worktop with him a year or so ago. A great job even if I say so myself.

It's pretty easy as long as you double and triple check which way the cut needs to go! Thumbs Up

If the members map is correct it would probably be too far for him. Thanks though.

LOL, tempting indeed Sir. I'm recalling the last one I tried though which looked like a dog's dinner Whistle Whistle

I might take you up though if that's OK. Ordered the worktops today and they will be delivered in a couple of weeks so I'll drop you a PM if I may. Cheers. Dom.

Depending on when they arrive, I might give you a hand if you do and the dates match up (for this kids social calendar, not mine! Wink

Try it again, Dom. Get some cheap worktop (offcuts even) out of B&Q and get some practice in! Sharp router bits help a lot as they dont need to be pushed.

Yep, buy two or three spare bits. You'll need 'em! Check everything three times before you cut.

This was my first attempt. Very pleased...
