Lakeland landrover in coniston

Just come back from having the company Disco (comm conversion by lakeland) serviced after having been working away with it for 6 months (did 31,000miles towing "3.5" tons),

Full service 105K on clock,
full brake disc and pad replacement
6 new tyres (both spares punctured) BFG Mud terrains Sad
Full muck out and polish
and even a new back plate on my tow hook i didn't ask for Shocked

and still got change from £1000

The old girl is as good as new now and drives better than ever, i have a 2007 HSE of my own and it is not a patch on old flossy for speed and power Shocked

Ryan PJ also offered a cracking deal to swop her for a new one whilst i was drinking copious amounts of there coffee,

To be fair i was tempted but the guys did such a good job with flossy there is no point now.

A big

Thumbs Up

To all at LLLR
Again

read a post recently that the 105k [belt change] service was £745.

tyres & belt change service for under £1k - doesn't add up Confused
If it does, I'll be in Coniston for a hol when that service is due!

Wow Fellas fast replies

to be fair i did spend £1100 at 70k ish before i went as i knew that it would be the best part of 30K before i had a proper LR service so i think they did the belts then i would have to dig out the invoice but they are not on this one!

old flossy was faultless the last 30,000 miles (with only one oil change that a local did and 2 punctures Big Cry )

Close Italy

A Friend of mine runs a beautiful spot near a village called pallia 30 miles from Pisa

Borgo Di Colleoli

http://www.holidayhome.co.uk/borgodicolleoli.html

i have put in a new Pool and sun deck, re stone faced a 15th centuty monastery and re built a lot of 12 km of perimeter stone wall and laid 1000 tons of Gravel drives and paths (that was around 275 trips to the quarry 22 miles away with my now knackered 16ft ifor trailer as roads are too narrow for owt bigger Big Cry ).

It was fun and i learnt a few choice words from the Italian labourers (i use that term loosely)
Ate and Drank the best i ever have didn't want to come home Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Censored Thumbs Up
