Looks like the ones Slimer was or wasn't going to be selling.
Seem OK and of course probably stronger.

Personally I prefer plastic, especially since they are mostly cosmetic and not really going to save the lamps much at all. I had steel lamp guards on my old Defender. After 2 years all the powder coating could be peeled off without effort.
