It’ll be a great day whatever you drive, the Defender is without doubt extremely capable and the later ones with the gizmos almost do it all for you, we did the one up here in Scotland in a Vogue Range Rover, kindly arranged as a present for my 60th, great day, also did the Defender at an earlier date hardly any difference... Embarassed

Enjoy it Thumbs Up

Thanks!

And some questions for people who have done the Factory Tour at Solihull...

1) can you take your phone in (I appreciate it may need to be switched off - no photos!)
2) if not, is there anywhere you safely leave it?
3) is it just a factory there, or are there any other facilities (i.e. cafe, shop etc??)

cheers

As far as I can remember you can take your phone with you but you are not allowed to take pictures.
The reception area has a drinks machine but I don't believe there is food available. It was 2 or 3 years ago when I went.

Had a very enjoyable afternoon at Pickerton on our half day LR experience. Drove a Range Rover Sport, fantastic car, very nice place and the weather was great.

Recently completed Eastnor. Fantastic experience. Used the Defender (long story...) but really glad to need to use a manual transmission.

Recommended.

A brilliant day out and not to be missed, we did it a few years back in a 110 Defender. Our guide/instructor made it special with his knowledge and funny quips. Must do it again sometime soon.
