| Land Rover Finance options, am I missing something?! |

We are currently very close to swapping our D3 for a D4. We were going to pay the full amount, when I casually looked at the Land Rover Finance bits. It mentions different options available such ad freedom, balloon hp and the one which piqued my interest, the Advanced Payment Plan. It mentions in the blurb about financing a new Land Rover, not any specific model.
So I rang the dealer up and enquired about this option. They told me its just for Freelanders, nothing else.
Is this correct? If it is then the website is misleading.

I think that LR change the vehicles that it applies to regulary depending upon sales. 55% or maybe more is what they take then the rest at the end of a period interst low or even free.
D4 sales are more than LR can keep up with at the mo. In the next quarter when there is not a new plate rush it may be applied to other ranges.
I dont know this for sure, just what I have extracted from dealers during discussions for a D4 lately. When I bought my D3 brand new in Mar 06, they were tripping over to get you to buy, and there were tons of pre reg at bargain prices. It is a different story now, and there are not many deals to be done. Credit crunch my aris   Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"
I would Reply:

If you go to Land Rover Finance, they just list the options available, and they mention...
'Just choose the Land Rover you want, agree your annual mileage and decide your agreement term between 20 and 24 months. Based on your chosen term and mileage Land Rover Finance will determine the Guaranteed Minimum Future Value (GMFV) of your car at the end of your agreement'
That's for the Payment Protection Plan option.

When we got our D4 it was on offer then, pay over 50% on collection and the rest in 2years time intrest free, might as well leave the rest in the BS earning intrest for two years  MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
