Only Porsche has beaten Land Rover as the most profitable franchise for a dealer to have in the UK in the past nine months, according to newcarnet.co.uk
The success has been driven mostly by the Freelander.
The Freelander 2 is expected to sell around 18,000 in 2007 95% of them diesel - and many of these to company fleets.
So haggle harder!
