| Land Rover software updates |
|
Just had my D4 in for checking squealing brakes in reverse - told there is no solution so far; however had a software update which apparently comes with wine or cake/chocolates! I thought you guys were joking when I heard this before, but apparently not. Can't fault the dealer so far.

Had mine done today, confirmed on the phone about the wine. Wife came away with nothing.
In the end cost us 10 quid for the insurance waiver. Also managed a very good discount on the phone for a boot matt, was told to get my wife to pick it up when collect car. To my surprise wife was charged top whack.
Dont know if i was meant to be, but was not informed what they had even done to my car. Cars:-MY11 Evoque SD4 Pure, MY12 Defender 90 XS & MY08 Evo X RS

Mine squeales in reverse as well, I'm afraid I'm waking the street up when I bring out from the garage for early starts.

ALL 10MY Disco 4 and RRSport brakes squeal in reverse.

Well mine doesn't anymore........it did, but the dealer fitted 09MY rear calipers and pads under warranty and all the noise is cured  2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE

no problems with mine its fine
only problem i have is cant change the radio station with the rear controls but its going to the dealers in a couple of weeks for a magic down load fix bali blue disco 4 with rear dvd's, privacy glass, pre heat system, heated steering wheel, full size spare, piano black trim, ipod cable, 20 inch wheels and i love it loads more than my TDV8 RRS, KTM 250 EXC 2 Stroke for the real off road stuff
