Now I like Rob, but I'm not sure I would want his glue all over my balls.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

The "famous" Uncle ball...is it welded, bolted or how is it fixed to the seat?

Thanks

Bolted. You take off a plastic cover, remove 2 bolts and fit the ball with 2 longer bolts.

Off Topic sort of:

Anyone using a tablet pc for navigation. Just thought a lower end tablet may be a very neat solution ?

I've used a Compaq TC1000n in slate mode, Memory map and a Garmin etrex Vista (feeding the GPS signal) for a number of years; OK but the Compaq was underpowered and the active digitiser with pen wasn't too accurate above 20mph or on anything but a very flat road, but as it's usually all balanced on my knee (in my D2) I don't have high expectations.

I've just replaced the Compaq with an HP tx2050 tablet which has an active digitiser and a wacom style touch screen. Much more poke in the tablet (2G RAM, dual core AMD Turion 64 processor) but haven't been out in the D3 with it yet. Under £700 on the web at the moment - not built like my Toshiba Quosmio but with 3 years damage (& theft) Insurance at £99 I'm not that worried; so far so good.............

Methinks I'll be wanting one of 'Uncle Rays balls' to try it out.
