I have had my 07MY into the dealer twice in the last two weeks because the driver seat was mysteriously sinking back down. Each time I got in, and sometimes during a journey, I had to pump it back up. The second time it came back with the latest Land Rover modification fitted. Can you spot waht it is?
Yes, a piece of sticky-backed foam rubber!
Weird thing is - it works! Apparently the lever is set high enough to be slightly depressed by a departing buttock, causing the seat to sink down. Would that all modifications were this simple.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

I don't know about dogs, but I can think of a couple of bitches in the past whose buttocks were one of the few parts that were missed in their departure. A Star Trek style floating clock? Cool 8)
This is a known problem and can be fixed by LR by requesting them to fit a hybrid seat base (a manual seat base with an electric uppy-downy bit)....
They always say it is down to you sticking your fat on the lever (well that's what they told me ), but it will even drop over a journey without even getting in or out of the D3.
Lots of people in Spain have had this fix done....
The problem is that the button is right at the back (where the lumbar adjustment is on the eleccy seats) and your DOES hit this new button causing the damn seat to go up..... 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG
