LED Bulbs that will fit in the Light Unit Hole

I bought some LED sidelight bulbs (recommended by a someone one here) but the pesky things don't fit through the hole in the unit. Only a bit frustrating as they took 5 weeks to arrive, Shipped by sea from China apparently!

Has anyone fitted replacement bulbs in LED form to a D3/D4? (They might the same for a D3) If so, where did you get them?

I recall that my reversind leds didn't quiet fit either. Some grinding to widen the hole and some pushing got them in.

Are yours much to big? CLUB ILLEGAL CAR WASHERS

I think the 5000K ones are the best match for Xenons , but please check as I am not 100% sure.

I reckon that I'd have to ream out the hole by 2mm which is fine but if I ever wanted to return to OEM sidelights they'd be slack as a yak with a broken back and would require packing.

I've ordered a pair from HIDS4U - 10 times the price of the Ebay ones but I can return them if they don't fit.

FWIW I've tried a few ebay cheapy ones, some are far too blue and get knocked back at MOT time, others have either just failed completely or gone intermittent with the light flickering.

I ended up getting the HIDS4U ones and never had a problem since Thumbs Up Clive

I can confirm that the HIDS4U lights fit and work perfectly.
