Never noticed my 2015 se Tech illuminating green either and my vin number is within the numbers quoted so I have emailed my local lr dealer to query this being done under my lr extended warranty

Well I had another look tonight in the daylight but with my hands cupped around and there was actually a light green glow around the gear selector so it looks like it is actually working but will know better once I take it out when it’s dark

Mine has definitely gone. No green lights Big Cry

Although mine no longer has a LR warranty, it does have a LR service plan.

Hoping I can persuade the deaier that as it's been dealer serviced and the subject of a service bulletin they'll fix it for free.

That should work... Whistle

I am glad I came across this post... I just assumed it was not well lit. Even with my dash brightness at full I do not have illuminated gear letters or the green ring around the rotary selector. It is still in warranty - has any one had any experience getting it replaced/fixed under warranty?

I checked mine recently and it was also dim but I realised that my dash lights were dimmed also and when I turned them up fully it also brighten up the green glow

If your out of warranty dont panic its a simple plug and play replacement item takes an hour just take it steady and just note which screws go where .pull out the cupholders and its fairly obvious from there.
