LED Trailer lights,7way smart bypass relay |
|
Hi All,
can anyone tell me the best place to fit the smart relay, would it be better by the trailer fusebox in the compartment on the L/H side of the boot,Or close to the trailer connector itself,It has to be fitted on the car only i have several trailers and it wouldnt be practicle to fit a relay to everyone. It also needs its own12v supply, would it be better to go straight to the battery or splice into 12v supply already in the boot compartment.I am sure one of you boys must have fitted one of these help needed
kind regards to all

I would be fitting dedicated electrics for the D3, rather than a generic bypass relay 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

Yep that's where I fitted mine,
In the boot cubby by the tow fuses
I only had a problem with the indicators flickering so I only wired them into it.
Best £8 quid I've spent,
A quick simple easy fix for flickering LED trailer lights ðŸ‘
