Let There Be Lightforces- and there Was
I spent the day playing with my lights idea, I wanted to add some more light for the morroco trip. In keeping with my normal way of doing things i wanted to have them as neat as possable and be able to take them off if i wanted to and not have any marks left on the vehicle. I bought a grill off ebay so i could butcher it and keep my own intact.
i made an ally bracket to mount the Lightforce 140's on, this bolts on to the front of the D3 behind the grill. So to remove the lights i just have four bolts and four waterproof connectors to unplug.
i still have a bit more work to do on it, i had to remove a lot of the grill so you can see the radiator behind the lights, i am going to add some black mesh masking to solve this problem.
I am thinking of leaving the grill black, maybe matt black to match the plastic bits ??

Is this the beginning of yet another 'std mod' from the D3 design team.....?
We've had RRS Badge updates, A-Bar lettering changes, Hidden winches and now, integrated lights....

I would probably respray the 'new' grill silver to match the car and then add black mesh/honeycomb across the back of it.....
Still laughing about the thought of you vapourising all insects, speed bumps and traffic wardens as you drive around at night

Are these all 55w, or 100w? or more.....?
I assume you've got them relayed & then wired into your aux battery?Bodsys Brake Bible

Not wired yet, but will be 75w each relay from the aux battery the relay will be switched using a center off switch.
So they can be off, on with main beam, or on. The same as the roof lights.CLUB "Ah Shor it'll be grand"
