LG Viewty Phonebook
Hi
I got a new mobile for my Christmas, a LG Viewty but it won't display the phone book on the dash it just says "memory empty" my last phone a Motorola V3i did display the phone book.
Anyone got ideas how I can get this feature back?
Cheers
Graeme

Shows that the Viewty cannot show the phonebook 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I also have the viewty.
Are you trying to connect it to a Parrot hands free or a built in landrover kit?
On the parrott you have to Bluetooth each contact to the memory, you may have to do the same on a land rover intergrated kit as well.
Send me a PM and I be able to talk u through it. Hopefully we can get it to work for uI have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

I'm pretty sure that the contacts in the phone book can be blue toothed to the memory on the phone kit. It's worth a tryI have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

Just had a look at my phone to work out how I got the contacts across to the car kit. You need to bluetooth each contact one by one by sending it to the kits memory as a mobile phone business card. Takes a bit of time but should work.
This should store them on the kits memory rather than the kit connecting to the mobile's phonebook via bluetooth.
Only thing to remember is to delete the contacts from the kit memory if you ever sell the car
As I said this works for the Parrott kit i have cos it also is unable to connect to the phonebook on the mobile.I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

I appreciate what you are saying relative to the Parrott kit Kergan... and it is a fine piece of kit too ..but I'm pretty sure the LR PTI doesn't work in a similar way 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Well just a thought, It is annoying when you can't access the phonebook on the hands free. Though it might be worth giving it a spin but you may well be right as I am unfarmiliar with the landrover phone kitI have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!
