comment on bright plate

The company that makes bright plate are a UK company and the plate is 100 percent legal the MOT states that the rear number plate should be illuminated by a white shaded or covered light.
The plate back lighting is connected to your original wiring ie your original number plate lighting as long as the letters numbers BS mark and post code are displayed then the plate is legal it dosent matter how you light it up
hope this helps if you fancy a set but they arnt cheap

I personally dont like them but if it ticks the boxes for you then why not
cheers

Has anyone found or installed LED bulbs for their license plate lights? I know Lexus uses them, but not sure if there are rover-friendly bulbs to use. I think with the new LED bulbs throughout the car, the regular halogen license bulbs stand out more. I am stateside here so any websites ect that may be beneficial let me know!
Thanks In Advance!

I bought some from superbrightleds.com; I have the WLEDX6 for the license plate lights. I will try and take a picture sometime this weekend.

A bit blurry, but it gives you an idea of what they look like. In the second picture the interior light is on and you can see how the standard bulb compares to the LED in color.
