Cheers guys

Lots to think about. My salesman is back the end of the week so I’ll have a chat with him, as I know I’ll get a good deal from him.

If I do move from the Velar I think the Sport is the one for me.

Aintree is ever so rare, here’s hoping it’s still about Thumbs Up

Aintree green is definitely the best colour. The metallic flakes are really scintillate in the sunlight. Proper Landrover classic colour. 👍

Aintree green is one of my favourite colours, loved the Aintree D4 I had, not at all a fan of white cars. (although I do have a V8 Defender which is white Whistle Laughing )

I like white, simple to look after and LR don’t hold you to ransom to get it.

Received a valuation on the Velar, 15 months old, 7001 miles on the clock.

£43,900 Shocked I may squeeze a bit more once my salesman returns to work but my spec/age is selling for sub £49k. It makes that lean mean Green machine just a tad more expensive. It’s always the risk when changing early, sometimes I win sometimes I lose especially in the current climate where dealers are struggling to move cars on. At the moment there is a £2k contribution on a used Velar and £3k (spec dependant) on new.

No desperate rush to move the Velar on, it’s running well, in fact better than it’s ever been, but if I do I’d rather do it before paying for a service in January. I will have a look again around September, unless my salesman can work his magic.

My socks are drying over the mini bar at the mo and the baseball cap is drying after being washed wth “invigorating body wash”. Not sure what car that suggests. Shocked Shocked
