OK, so assuming the mounting is sorted, I've been searching through the thousands of threads to wire it all in, but I don't have answers to these questions....
Anyone help further?

thanks for the guidance. Really appreciate it as the dealer i called was no use at all-Car is only 3 weeks old so dont want to wreck the bodywork this early.......
so let me check i have this right......
I fit the mounting kit. The post comes up to just below the level of the bumper and i have a smaller hole drilled allowing the 10mm bolt to fit through and screw into with the post-it does fit I checked.
I source something like that rubber disc to fit over the hole and form some sort of seal hiding the handywork, et voila!
or....just buy an A Bar and not wreck my wife's new car....which one to choose?? !!!!

you still need to drill 4 holes in the bumper to fit the A-Bar so unless you really want one, i'd just drill a couple of holes and fit the lights as the A-Bar holes are a lot more obvious when you take the A-Bar off Duncan

Correct.
I know a man who could do it - not sure Glasgow is within reach though
Try asking TenForCash (TFC), a forum member/sponsor. He could do it no trouble Disco 5 HSE Lux

seems like a plan to ask TFC. I would prefer the spots on the bumper rather than the A Bar.........
oh well, more expense looming!

Sorry Ken, I need it in gimmer vision, cant see the detail. Is that just the lower part of the LR mounting shield covering the hole?

thanks to looking at that picture in WAY too much detail, I have mocked it up and all i need to do is to have a substitute mounting plate made or see if the heavy duty plastic one supplied can be modified (filed down and drilled through to allow me to attach the lightforce 170 which is on a 10mm bolt.
thankfully the lamps are lightweight so that should be OK.
