Should I have the relay negatively switched or positively switched? And is there a benefit to doing it one way over the other?
So I have an On off on switch, one ON will switch the relay on when on high beam and the other ON will switch the relay on by the switch.
Actually, I think I've just answered my question in that I will have to go positive switch to do that otherwise I run the risk of switching the main beam lights on when i want just the spotlights on.... (I think!) Oh now I'm confused Bodsys Brake Bible

Fuse always goes in the positive, switch can go in either dependent upon the application and switching logic
