I liked the old stick arrangement as rested hand on it with elbow on cubby box, which I found to be very comfortable when driving long distances.
Obviously cannot with the rotary dial, but no big deal and not fussed with either arrangement now. D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST
