Limp mode/hdc fault etc after track rod change..

My brother in law has just phoned after swapping track rods to say Car went into limp mode after he’s swapped the track rods out..

Could this have triggered anything at all? Being up on a ramp and changing track rods..

He said tracking needs doing badly afterwards, could this cause it at all?

Any help would be appreciated Smile

Thanks for the replies guys.

Waylander - all tracked up and faults deleted, appears fine now according to my bro in law. Thanks Smile

Will pick it up in a little while and hopefully all is well.
