Like you say, if they want it, they'll take it. This does provide a visual deterrent, though, so the hope is that it will put off the more casual scrote.2014 - D4 2010 HSE Nara Bronze

Sales of crooklocks are apparently booming as car thefts have risen 30% as scrotes use technology to steal modern cars..

I've got a tracker and a Disclock - a bit cumbersome but apparently virtually impossible to remove without the key

Got the Stoplock a couple of weeks ago and can confirm it works as my wife couldn't unlock it one morning , took me about 15 mins of fiddling to get the key in .
Returned it and bought a disklok , double the price but a bit more of a visible deterrent , also invested in the Ghost Immobiliser .

Another vote for DisklockWhen you are dead, you do not know you are dead. All of the pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you are stupid.

I used a steering lock thing many years ago, but personally found it too much of an inconvenience. Even more so now with the Discovery being keyless start, as I can have the engine started almost as soon as the door is closed.
Personally I would sooner risk the inconvenience of having my Discovery stolen, rather than messing around with some great lump of metal every single journey.Andy

Yes I have, and I am still not willing to put up with the inconvenience.Andy
I found the 4 months of being without the D4 stressful as well as inconvenient. Plus ending up about 3k out of pocket. I've secured the OBD port and will do other mods but am starting to look at big visual deterrents as it will hopefully put them off before they smash any windows..

Like the idea of the custom port protection. What was your solution, Hardware17?
