Well the lease is up and the beloved D3 has to go back to the lease company. As far as i know its going straight from me to the auction house so anyone looking for a well maintained 51000 mile silver manual 57 XS, might want to keep an eye out at the start of Feb. Its had one issue in the 4 years I have had it and that was a sticky EGR fixed under warranty. I have loved this car and have used it to move house twice, get me out of the village in the snow when no one else could get up the hill, as well as a daily transport for me and the rest of the family.
I will probably have a set of roof bars for sale on the site later in the month with suitable donation.
Thanks for all the great info and entertainment I have had particularly as the level of seriously snarky comments has dropped a lot in recent months.
I am not leaving Landrover as I am expecting a FL2 MY11 in its place.
I am already on the frell2.com but its not nearly as much fun over there so may stay on here just for the friday jokes and occasional flame war over which colour is best or if auto or manual is better. I always enjoyed these, even whilst knowing that silver manuals were the best.
So thanks again to Martin et al for producing such a good place to hangout and remember there is at least 1 FL owner who will be forever looking at D3's and wishing he still had one.
