I know it’s not a disco but I have a rangerover sport with the above amp which I believe is that same system in the disco 3 so hope it’s ok to post here
I’ve had a problem with the system in my sport it’s got no volume control and nav screen is only showing Land Rover screen
I have had a Audio technician look at it and was told amp is faulty
I purchased a secondhand amp fitted it and now have a different fault code stating fibre optic fault
I spoke to a rangerover dealer and told the amps are programmed to the car
Does anyone know more about this and has anyone fitted a secondhand amp in there car with success

I fitted a 2nd hand RRS amp to my Disco 3 after having audio problems. Worked right away and cured my problem. Bought one with the same part number

Second amp arrived today same problem fibre optic failure
Done a bit of searching on net some links to TMC so I connected my fibre optic lik cable to this and now stereo working
I have to get new test lamp to see if power going to TMC
If no power can I link a cable from a red wire that connects to Bluetooth module
