Apparently, Altoids mint tins are made of the right stuff, but I fancy some ginger for pepping me up on the journeys to/from Scotland anyway.
Quick update.
The ginger 'treats' are rather good for my long journeys and.....
the tin is 100% effective with the Renault keyless fob.
With a tiny bit of chocolate box cushioning it's a lovely fit for the key as well.

I did this the day I picked my D4 up. I have never had keyless enabled.
My concern is clever thieves picking up the signal from the house or pocket and copying it onto another key, which I know is possible with the right criminal know how.
