Hi I changed the radio in my 09 disco 3
And I have lost the fuel countdown and so other info on the dash.
Do I need to keep the standard radio in for this or have I blown something.
I don’t think I dod.

Might be an idea to state the Model of Discovery and the model of the stereo you swapped out

If it had a keypad on it .. then it’s not just a radio.. it’s a head unit which once removed will cause all the settings to stop working... amongst other things G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

If you do a search there is away of adding the aux port
Here https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic2972.html
Presume you had a look in between rear seats on back of Center cubby box to make sure the port isn’t there?
Not sure if gs should have it?? MY24 Defender 90 X-Dynamic HSE
MY18 Disco 5 HSE Santorini Black Now Gone.
