Lost Towbar Keys

HELP! I removed my towbar last year and now need to refit it. I've searched high and low for the keys but can't find them. Anybody got any idea how I get replacement keys?

Thanks in advance

Bill

There maybe a number on the lock where you insert the key.

https://www.replacementkeys.co.uk/vehicle/towbar/?man=488

if not it’s a new lock, anywhere from £25 to £35.

I bought one from that site - very impressed, worked perfectly and was delivered quickly (at the time)

Only problem is they are really really thin and light - and as it stays 'in' the lock whilst off the vehicle it can very easily get snapped off in the lock whilst stored in the boot (ask me how I know) so you have to buy a new lock anyway.

Hi,
you can remove the key by doing a "controlled" Shocked pin release as if it was being fitted to the car

although you then tend to loose the key then, see Bill's post at start Whistle
