What is the criteria for LR to sell rather than pass onto the trade?
Presumably it is linked to mileage and age?

Glad I'm not a lotus salesman as according to data for may Lotus registered 2 cars  .Which puts into context the new Discovery sold more and even I have seen a handful this week .

Out of 4 branches in my dealers group, there is only 1 used D5 and a surprising amount of 2016 Landmarks 15 in total.
So 46 used Discos in the group, 45 D4s and 1 D5, seems to be selling well up here. 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Drove from Kent to Stafford over the weekend and back again saw least 12 on the road. Incidentally they were all either silver or black MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I saw one today at Silverstone at the British GT Championship.  First one in about 6 weeks. : New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)
Sold Volvo XC90 R-Design (known as Basil)
Sold - D4 HSE (Known as Gerty)
No longer the Old Buses original owner

Apart from in the Dealerships, I have only seen 2 in Fife/Dundee since they came out in March ? None at the SCCNR in Dumfries and none at the CAMCNR in Sandringham, so they don't seem to have taken off as quickly as I would have expected within the caravanning community yet ?

On Saturday I saw my fourth on Tyneside since the launch date. It was in a DIY store car park. I was incognito in the Jazz.  Saw three in total in a 930 mile trip in Scotland two weeks ago. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.
