Low Power Mode

Hi

Occasionally when I am trying to turn up my radio/iPod I get a a message saying Low Power Mode and I cannot get any real volume!

This is on a 55 HSE.

Any ideas what this is?

Regards>

Low Power mode is usually activated when the ignition is on but the engine is off, presumably to minimize battery drain Thumbs Up

I get this message occasionally whilst driving - always just after starting my journey. After approx. 30 seconds the message disappears and everythings fine again - it's never bothered me.

Could this be another symptom of the dreaded failing battery syndrome?
