Low on power steering oil |
|
Hello everyone
I checked my car fluid levels and all seem okay apart from the power steering, which is a tiny bit above the minimal level. Should I top it up or wait for the 60K service which is due shortly. Would the 60K service cover power steering the oil change anyway?
Cheers

I had this on one of my D4's and found that the "O" rings were leaking on the hoses thus loosing fluid. The dealer sorted all under warranty MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
MY15 D4 HSE Kaikoura Stone
MY12 D4 HSE Nara Bronze Sold and gone
MY11 D4 HSE Stornaway Grey Sold and gone
D3 S spec Silver Sold and gone
Tow bar, full length roof bars, side steps, tow bar storage unit, surround camers.

If the oil level in the power steering reservoir has reduced, the oil must have gone somewhere. Look to see if their are any leaks.

Thanks guys. I will ask an Indy to take a look at it when doing the service as I am not a mechanic and can only do very basic things for maintenance, like changing wiper blades and bulbs
