Hi nick

Brilliant u found them Thumbs Up

Plus 1 ref the adaptors , as have the same trolley jack, would be brilliant if there’s another group buy for them as would order x 2 of them

But suppose depends how many would like them to make a bulk order viable

Thks again Thumbs Up

I called a couple of people locally & had no joy, still trying other options though.

I took both the images from the previous contributors & merged them into a single drawing which hopefully represents what we are after.

I haven't checked the thread detail but presume it's the same thread as the hex bolt on the SGS TJ3-LP.

I'm not sure if a screwed in adaptor is going to give the greatest flexibility compared to a free spinning drop in adapter?

Hi nick

Many thks for taking the time to redraw that , indeed as u say ref the thread , see on the trolley jack it specifies a 20mm hole and indeed the thread being a M24

My trolley jack is still in the box and at the moment I can’t lift it as I was going to take some measurements for u to help out, ie width of saddle etc

fingers crossed someone will be able to make these up, also if u need money up front that’s fine with me if it helps u get a min bulk order

Plus would it help us in any way if the thickness of the adaptor was increased plse or do u think it will make the adaptor unstable

Thks again Thumbs Up

I guess if it's screwing into the jacks footplate the thickness could be increased if the objective is the increase the overall height.

I think that the 15mm thickness of the larger diameter section may be worth checking because when used at the front offside there is a risk that the part of the jack that the adaptor fits into may come into contact with the fuel tank tray. Depends on the design of your jack.

Well i've drawn a blank on trying to procure a jack adapter so far.

Did anyone have any joy or have one for sale?

Disco Adapter to fit SGS TJ3LP Jack

So I had a reply from the chap that manufactures these in the other thread.

To make a bespoke one to fit he wants £20+vat delivered. Before I go ahead, I want to double the measurements here are correct. Particularly the thread size to mount it to the jack as I don't know how to check this.

I've made some revisions. I've changed the diameter of the foot so it will fit within the foot on the jack to add additional support.

I've increased the depth of the thread.

Any thoughts?

I'm confused. SGS say the Hex bolt is M6, 0.75 fine thread pitch, this sounds very small?

M6 does seem small.

are you talking about the "screw" (according to parts list) that's "8" in this drawing ?

( taken from .pdf manual for SGS 3 TON HEAVY DUTY TROLLEY JACK - Product Code: TJ3X )

unless it's massively "not to scale" then it is not an M6 bolt.
