Interesting topic.. additives to diesel. The addition of a turbo was to force more air into the system to improve performance... more air is good. Air includes oxygen which is absolutely required for combustion. Consider a system which can deliver more oxygen (nitrous etc). better combustion, more horses, more miles per buck. I dont know if i would want to mix petrol or any other similar type fuel with my diesel due to the lubrication stripping characteristics of this liquiid. I dont know if the disco uses the lubricating qualities of derv but i have heard tales of diesel engine/fuel system seals being affected following the introduction of petrol. LPG seems quite a safe option but surely if more fuel (diesel + the LPG) is being put into the cylinders, then there should be a relative increase in the ammount of air/oxygen... LPG/Diesel/Nitrous oxide......sounds like saturn 5 stuff....bring it on.. Just thought... i've a spare acetylene cylinder somewhere..... where could i fit it
