Asked the salesman outright about the LRE voucher this morning - his first words were "they stopped doing them last year" but I reposted with "aha but I believe its not as strightforwards as that" and he conceded and said he would make some phone calls and check - if anyone has bought a D3 in the last month and received a voucher would like to share with me their dealers name, I may attempt to use it as leverage if I get a negative response later (god - that sounds awful business speak ... sorry!)Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Just got home and my voucher was here waiting for me The offer is abviously still running - I presume that its coincidence and not the fact that the dealer chased them.
With regards which dealers, I use is Croall Bryson in Kelso. They have been fantastic at all stages (pre and post sale) and I have nothing but praise for them.

LRE Vouchers
Bought my Disco on 22nd December and have just received the LRE voucher. I hadn't chased anyone for it so they are obviously still doing it. Dealer was Rossleigh in Edinburgh.

LRE informed me they were the cause of the hold up in my case, as they had not passed on the relevant info to them after I received the car. That was 6weeks after I took delivery.

Hmmm...had some very interesting experiences with Rossleigh after they changed from Appleyard
Vowed never to set foot through their doors - even after having bought 3 new landies from them. Moved to Croall Bryson - they're further away but excellent.
I talk privately about the experiences but not on a forum - suffice to say they live up to the reputation of their Reg Vardy masters...

Assistance please
I'm booked to do a Lv 1 at Dunkeld Sat 11 Feb.
I'm arriving at Dundee airport Friday 10 about 18:00. Can anyone provide some suggestions/guidance about getting to Dunkeld at this time of the evening. Is a bus, train practical considerations or is a rental car the best option.
Also in process of booking accommodation, any recommendations...
Thanks in advance

Cripes! you're flying halfway round the world for a LRE adventure, I'm impressed. I take it you are staying for a while, or are you on the next flight home?
If I lived up there, I would pick you up from the airport, and be your D3 taxi, but sadly I am 250 miles too far south.

Rental is probably your best bet. Trains and buses will require changes in Dundee and Perth. Budget accommodation at Dundee or Perth Travellodges. Swallow Hotel Dundee (short taxi from airport) normally has good weekend rates. Try also Dundee Apex and Hilton, very handy for a Saturday morning train to Dunkeld and very scenic!

Yes you are right.
LRE NZ has closed down so can’t do it there
Came over for some business in Brussels and having come all this way it would be a shame not to take the opportunity and travel a little further and have a great weekend. Will be staying in Stansted until Thursday then heading home.
Thanks for the offer Gareth.
