Hey Dick, you made it!
Thanks, had a great morning Friday. Been chatting with a mate this morning - we've both decided to do a Level 1 course, so we'll see you soon! (Hopefully we'll get Ford to pay for it as well!!)
Hope you enjoy the site, there's some useful stuff on here!!

LR no longer give out free courses after you have bought, not enough people were taking them up on the invite. Your dealer can still arrange a day out, but it's at his expense apparrently. The only way to get a free half day now is to "express an interest in purchasing a Land Rover product". I got an invite recently asking if I would like to go to Dunkeld to test drive the current generation Freelander................ seeing as LR know that I already own a Defender and an RRS I am not thinking of a Freelander at the moment, and have been to Dunkeld twice on freebies from them and 3 times on club days. Now if they were to offer me a trip to test the next generation Freelander in the next month then I would be off up there like a shot! Now a disillusioned new Land Rover buyer and have jumped ship to something less expensive and more reliable that hugs trees.... now driving a Mini Countryman PHEV as well as my trusty and brilliant 1996 Epsom Green Defender90 Tdi300
