LR experience joy

After trying several times, through several dealers to get myself on a LR Experience day (or 1/2 day), I got a call from a friend yesterday who had an invite drop through the post out of the blue. He's taking me along - yippee. Thing is, he doesn't even have a Landy, he's got a Shogun Sport.
So, all being well, next Tuesday, we'll be at Rockingham having a blast.

Definitely upgrade.

Try and do it during the week (apparently Mondays are the quietest) so there's the best chance of not having to share with another driver.

Give them a ring. Offer them cash, or failing that take some biscuits. Works a treat.

Just got back from spending the morning driving a RRS around Tixover quarry.

Superb!!

A couple of old boys who were in a Freelander couldn't believe what the RRS what capable of.

Can't wait to take my D3 there on the next LRO day.

Come along in June, Tixover will more than likely be used as well as Rockingham

A bleedin' Saxo (don't go there), as some scrote b*stard has smashed up my Audi. It's going to be a mad rush when I get the Audi back to get it sold in time for the D3 coming - including squeezing in a business trip to the States, and a few days at Le Mans as well.
I would have come along in June as a passenger as I'm local (still might), but I have a feeling I meet be obliged to offer the wife moral support in the "Race for Life".

Had my LRE at Eastwell Park today - great fun! Couldn't upgrade to the full day, as they were fully booked. Thanks KL - tried phoning etc but no good. Took the biscuits as a surprise attack, but they were fully stocked!!

Still, it was a great morning. I cannot believe what these things can do Shocked Am definetly going back for more. Got chatting about Level 1 and 2 etc. and got shown parts of the level 2 course - they're not slopes, they're walls!! Shocked Shocked

So, thanks to the guys (and gal) at Eastwell - and mentioned the site to another D3 owner as well, who's going to check out the site.

Roll on the June weekender! Very Happy
