LR experience joy
After trying several times, through several dealers to get myself on a LR Experience day (or 1/2 day), I got a call from a friend yesterday who had an invite drop through the post out of the blue. He's taking me along - yippee. Thing is, he doesn't even have a Landy, he's got a Shogun Sport.
So, all being well, next Tuesday, we'll be at Rockingham having a blast.

Try and do it during the week (apparently Mondays are the quietest) so there's the best chance of not having to share with another driver.Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue

Left it too late to upgrade
Is there any chance they'll let me upgrade on the day??
Give them a ring. Offer them cash, or failing that take some biscuits. Works a treat.Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue

Just got back from spending the morning driving a RRS around Tixover quarry.
Superb!!
A couple of old boys who were in a Freelander couldn't believe what the RRS what capable of.
Can't wait to take my D3 there on the next LRO day.

A bleedin' Saxo (don't go there), as some scrote b*stard has smashed up my Audi. It's going to be a mad rush when I get the Audi back to get it sold in time for the D3 coming - including squeezing in a business trip to the States, and a few days at Le Mans as well.
I would have come along in June as a passenger as I'm local (still might), but I have a feeling I meet be obliged to offer the wife moral support in the "Race for Life".

Had my LRE at Eastwell Park today - great fun! Couldn't upgrade to the full day, as they were fully booked. Thanks KL - tried phoning etc but no good. Took the biscuits as a surprise attack, but they were fully stocked!!
Still, it was a great morning. I cannot believe what these things can do Am definetly going back for more. Got chatting about Level 1 and 2 etc. and got shown parts of the level 2 course - they're not slopes, they're walls!!
So, thanks to the guys (and gal) at Eastwell - and mentioned the site to another D3 owner as well, who's going to check out the site.
