Working from home is the universal excuse for a day off, but not quite a day off.
Boiler repair, delivery pending, home shopping channel delivery, got a bit of work to do on the house that can't wait til weekend.....
You're available on the phone when needed and by e-mail if pushed...
Come on, how much Work is there in 'working' from home... Bodsys Brake Bible

Why, if there are only two people in the chain (me and the purchaser) is it taking so chuffing long to sell my old house? If it's not my solicitor out of the office it's theirs.
'snot fair. It's been chuffin' months since I decided the Disco was the way to go and since then everything I'd relied on to release funds has dragged like a wormy dog's backside.
I WANNA DISCO AND I WANT IT NOW, DAMMIT!
Who knows, if the money comes through before Kes gets rid of his and subject to agreeing a price I may well be taking a flight to Leeds Bradford airport with a briefcase full of wonga...... Well, if you can't help a Disco3er in need, what can you do?
Oh, and I hate this run up to xmas too. Loads of things I need to get agreed at work and no beggar around to put their pawprint on anything. Still, that consultancy work for you. All the ideas and no authority to implement them
Anyone know of any offroad playtime taking place in and around Dorset over the Christmas weekend/next week? I still have the wife's L200 to play with

'fraid I don't know of anywhere down that way, but when you land at Leeds/Bradford pop into Donny for a cappa and bacon sarnie
And the reason it takes so long so so both solicitors can 'solicit' more cash from you grrrrr'06 D3 HSE

Cappa? I had a series of images flash through my head then, from the Goodies wearing flat caps (ecky thump!) to kappa shell suits via "gangstas" threatening to "bust some caps". None of them pleasing when considered in the context of a briefcase full of cash!
Cheers Mike!

Isn't there a pay and play site at Matchams (Bournemouth/ringwood area) don't know what it is like, but there is a big motox site there too.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Oooh Matchams, good point! It closed back in the summer (land owner got in a strop with the local council because they wouldn't give him planning permission for 476,329* new homes to be built on sandy heathland at the end of an international runway used by 747s amongst other heavy traffic) but some of the events there have since restarted. I shall look into it.
I keep looking enviously at the Royal Armoured Corps training area that sits less than a mile from my front door, but the thought of a Challenger beltong over a berm and landing on me has put me off to date.
(* this may be an exaggeration)

Yeah I recon so. Not much happening though. Pre-Christmas doldrums perhaps?
I wonder if we're going to have another Mad Friday this week! Back in the game!
