Seems to be quite busy at the moment, F15's seem to have been out most days. This time of Year weather seems to be the determining factorMark

I live about 18 miles away from the spot where people park to watch the planes on the Mach loop. We had 4 F15s fly over yesterday but we only see them low if its a nice clear sky.

I really want to travel there but I imagine it’s a gamble as to whether you see much or not.

That schedule is just for operational low flying. Normal low-level flying, including the loop, is planned on the day by the aircrew, so very unpredictable given the numerous factors that influence the sortie profile.

I go to the loop 3 or4 times a year ( winter is a nice time as its not to busy ) for your first visit I would suggest Cad West as the lay-bys takes about twent cars and a nice steady climb will get you up there in about 30 mins

The F15 is taken from cad west but there are several other location to see the action from but with increased degrees of difficulty in the climbing 😀
