Hi,
Has anyone ever taken a 2.7 tdv6 apart and only found 3 parts of the thrust washer??? I am replacing mine in an engine to go in my discovery and when I’ve taken the shell out of the cap for number 4 only one side has got a thrust washer? The other shell has it two on it and my new ones have two on each shell, there is no sign of it in the engine??? The one that was in the cap is also loose and not attached to the shell.

I’ve just done some more searching on here and the internet, a couple of people saying the bearing in the cap only has one half washer as standard? Can anyone confirm this is right please, I probably should have left this to others who know a lot more than me but I’m in too deep now.🤣
