Maintenance Manual Query - Disco 3

Cheers for looking at this query,

I have recently purchased a 2006 Discovery 3, and being a Land Rover owner over the years would like to maintain the vehicle as much as possible myself, and with the help of a relation who's a mechanic.

Do you know of any maintenance/repair manual that is available for this vehicle? Land Rover haven't produced anything yet as far as I know.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Cheers
Thumbs Up

for your info, bumped in to one of the guys from Haynes t'other week, asked him to enquire as regards whether a manual is on the drawing board, he went away and spoke to those in the know to confirm that at the moment there was not the demand Shocked

My i suggest we all email Haynes manuals and bombard them with requests, might get them thinking!! Thumbs Up

Maybe they think the D3 is too "posh" for their owners to want to get their hands dirty and fix it themselves. Whistle Whistle

Have a little look here - http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic57531.h...%5C%5C%22. You may find something to your advantage - eventually! Don't want to make it too easy.

There is also the land rover topix website. There is a subscription for a day, week, month or year, but for someone like your self intending to carry out your own maintenance etc, its worth the subscription IMHO.
