Making 12v socket perm live in MY16?

I know this is a blast from the past but will this work for a MY16 to make the rear perm live? Or front if it's easier. http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic60079-15.html

It's to connect a trickle charger to when the car is left for a few weeks. Was wondering if the BMS would have a hissyfit or the car would never go to sleep?

TIA.

Can't help with the wiring question as I have not done it, but if you charge via a perm live socket eg boot then the BMS will be happy.

Towing electrics the same.

Not sure I've given you good info as I didn't NB you were talking about MY 16. Mine is MY 12 and has a boot outlet that is live.

I don't see why it shouldn't work. Mine is 13my and I have modded the relays to give permanent live cigar, and accessory sockets.

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Will knock up a short bit of cable with a couple of spades on it and have a look on Friday. Worst case senario is they have to swap it back if it causes a problem. The relay is downstream of the fuse so any issues would just trip the fuse. Thumbs Up
