Mantec sump guard - new bolts required?

I'll be fitting my sump guard tomorrow, do I need to buy new bolts for it or do the standard ones on the car suffice please?

The Mantec sump guard on the Freelander needs longer bolts, even than those supplied with the guard, so I wouldn't be surprised! Rolling Eyes

I'm pretty sure mine came with bolts. I don't think the plastic thingy that you have to take off uses bolts that can be re-used; I think that uses plastic clips. Thumbs Up

Ok, the one I have bought is second hand though, not unpacked it yet but not expecting bolts to be included.

Any idea what size/type I will need?

Having bought mine off Snowy a few months ago I fitted it when I was home last month.... and then used it anger a few days later!

But I did start thinking - has anyone thought of a security device for it? I'm sure many of us on here have fitted them and will be aware how easily removed they are.

I fitted one last week and used same bolts jack the back of it to hold it whilst you put rear ones in easy job.

I did include some fixings for the front and I'm sure the rears are long enough to reuse but the front ones I supplied might not be suitable there's two bolts and two of these,I used them on my D3 but drilled the cross member holes slightly bigger Thumbs Up
