My D3 manual box has decided to give me problems. Had issue selecting 1st as selector is not blocking between 1st and reverse! What are the likely issues???

Do a search for dent clip circlip. Mine broke last week and I called into my local indi 20 minutes later good as new

Can confirm as many other posts on here, had the exact same issue this week, new clip and sorted.
Easy enough, as others have said, i didnt remove the wheel, just full lock to the left, offroad height, axle stand for safety, 6 bolts to take gearbox tray off, 14mm hex - used a sump plug tool with 14mm x 17mm ends, open ended spanner on the 17mm end and a tube to assist loosening.
30mins job, wish i had done it as preventative as id heard it many times before.
