| Manual transmission D4 - will it continue ? |

hi guys, I was looking into getting a 2.7L turbodiesel D4 here in Australia, but you can only get automatics, no manuals on special order.
Just wondering if anyone has any inside info on the manual transmission - is it just a limited run or will the manual transmission and 2.7L engine continue?

As far as I know, D4 is auto only. No manual option on any variant.

Manual is still an option in the UK on the 2.7l D4, in fact I think manual might be the standard box with auto being the option  3.0l D4's are all auto only The End

The D4 2.7 TDV6 is available with a manual option in S, SE and HSE trim levels - or at least it is here .... maybe it's different for the AUS market  2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

ISTR the 2.7 is only available in GS and Commercial specs in the UK
Definitely a case of different specs for different markets The End

The stealer told me a couple of week ago that in the UK the manual will only be available in GS and only until July for some reason.
Perhaps they are thinking they will run out of leftover D3 gearboxes by then  I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!
