They can call it what they like in Australia - the laws are different.

Did you know in the USA they call a boot a trunk? Shocked Shocked

It's a play on words, I'm only jesting with DG. Laughing

If you're insured for on road use and they're happy with it, that's all you need. Thumbs Up

Interested in the D4 spotlight mounts and the low profile full length roof rack. All dependent on price.

Might be worth trying to produce a reasonably priced upper shelf.

Wiggs made a great home made version here and isn’t planning to make any more:

Quality material choice will negate the need for a coating, which may end up cheaper than using powder coated rust. Any steel should be galvanized in my opinion, as that is the only real way of
preventing corrosion. You could also consider using aluminium for low stress parts.
Good luck, and I would be after a rear wheel carrier and sill/ rock sliders to start with. Thumbs Up

Shire Fabrications rock sliders seem to be well recommended and reasonably priced compared to a bunch of others. I’ve been thinking of them Wink

I, too, would like to have a nice rear wheel carrier but since I can live without one there is no way I’m dishing out 1.5k+ for a Kaymar or another brand any time soon.

Rear wheel carrier for me. One that can be mounted on the left side rather than the right, as I have an LPG tank on the right side of the rear bumper now...
