MAP Correlation

Following on from my restricted performance problem, the car showed numerous faults including MAP sensor, which we reset. Then ran the car for a while, once again Restricted Performance and eventually Amber Engine Warning Light. Checked on IID again and only one fault 'MAP Sensor Out of Correlation' (or something very similar) I have tried cleaning the MAP Sensor previously and it seemed very clean. My thoughts are now to fit a new sensor, does that seem the right next step ?

Cheers
Ian

Thanks for the responses, very helpful and with hind sight much more logical then just changing the sensor. Booked into local Indie on Friday, now feeling a bit nervous I must admit

Sorry not noticed replies, the problem I had turned out to be cracked inlet manifold.
As Disco Mikey hit the nail on the head, fortunately the Indie did to and it has been fine since the manifold was changed

Just the suspension faults to sort now !

Hi there, no problem...

About the suspension faults, had it also. After buying an online repair kit for the air suspension compressor, fault was gone...
the kit has: - new water absorbing filter pack
- new piston rings + assembly kit

if its any help: i purchased it in Germany: https://www.discovery-parts.de/
about 95€

*New MAP sensor is ordered*
