MAP sensor differences? UPDATE D4 map sensor on D3

Ive had a new map sensor arrive, its a landrover part, and apparently matched to my vin number.
Im changing it because i get a MAP sensor fault reading occasionally.

However, the old map sensor i removed has a small hole, like a reducer on the end.
The NEW sensor has a large hole, loke there is no reducer.

Ive looked at wether the end comes off the old one, but no, its a one piece unit.

Any ideas folks? I cant find any info on the web about size of the hole.

ive found that the sensor they sent me is the same as the Discovery 4 sensor.
Has anyone else used a D4 map sensor on a D3??

Im concerned this is wrong.

I replaced mine with the large hole version a while ago, no problems with the new one.

Perhaps the small hole one is prone to clogging, there's been loads of threads on the subject. Thumbs Up

Read fault codes and clear them. Possibly another issue like egrs? Or the sensor isn’t faulty, but has a wiring issue?
