Does anyone have experience with this type of powerbox?
And what the value of this thing?

Powerboxes do not generally give the same gains and benefits as a proper remap. They usually just modify the signal sent by the ECU to the engine. Of course there is the benefit that the powerbox can be removed quickly and transfered from vehicle to vehicle.
Personally I wouldnt have one, but if its cheap you could go for it.

But then so can the BAS remap..........and you don't have to lift the bonnet to do it 8)

Ooops, just read the OP properly, the BAS map can't be transferred between vehicles (unless you speak with Pete !)
